Masonry Drill Bits for Installation Work
These bits suit drilling tasks in the listed masonry materials when used with a compatible drill. Choose the diameter and length for the intended hole, then check the fixing manufacturer’s requirements. Hole diameter and required embedment depth should come from the fixing specification, not from the drill bit name alone.
Before Drilling into Walls
Check the drill’s shank and chuck requirements against the selected bit. Inspect the work area for hidden cables and pipes, support the tool securely and use appropriate eye and dust protection. Follow the drill manufacturer’s operating instructions and clear dust as required. Overall bit length is not the same as usable drilling depth, so check the available working length for the job.
