Description
The XPERT 16oz white rubber mallet is a soft striking glazing tool for controlled tapping on PVCu building products and other surfaces that need more care than a metal hammer allows. Its solid white rubber head delivers a dampened blow, while the fibreglass shaft and cushioned grip make it a practical tool for installation and general construction work.

Rubber Mallet for Glazing and Plastic Cappings
A rubber headed mallet is useful where controlled impact is needed to bring a component into position. This model can be used for suitable plastic capping work, including conservatory roof top caps, following the component manufacturer’s fitting instructions. The white striking head helps avoid the dark marks associated with some rubber tools on pale surfaces.
Care Around Finished Surfaces
A soft head reduces the risk of marking, but it does not make every surface safe to strike. Keep the rubber faces free from grit and debris, support the component properly and begin with light taps. Check an inconspicuous area when working on an unfamiliar finish. Never strike glazing directly, and follow the relevant installation method for the part you are fitting.
Storage
Wipe the head clean after use and use the hanging hole to keep the mallet accessible in the workshop or storage area.
