The Shield Hardware window restrictor is an automatic restrictor designed with child safety in mind. It's simple spring mechanism enables it to automatically engage when the window is opened and restrict the opening. The mechanism can be released by pulling the window shut slightly and disengaging the hook, allowing you to fully open the window. The next time the window is closed and re-opened the window restrictor will automatically re-engage.

This automatic window restrictor is available in both left and hand and is supplied with fixing screws. To work out what hand you need please refer to the diagram included in the image gallery.

The Shield Hardware window restrictor also comes with included packers for the stud which allows the restrictor to be compatible with all uPVC windows.
