A Timber Saw for Building and Carpentry
Use this builders hand saw for general cuts in wood, chipboard and tongue and groove materials. The long blade provides room for a full cutting stroke, while the handle guides help with setting out square and angled lines. A scale on the blade keeps a measuring reference close to hand when preparing the next cut.
Choosing and Using Your Saw
Match the saw to the material and the finish you need. Secure the workpiece before cutting and keep hands clear of the blade path. Start accurately on the waste side of your mark, then allow the teeth to cut without excessive pressure. For plastic fascia, soffits and window trims, choose a dedicated fine tooth PVCu saw instead.
