The Laird Saracen / Aubi FM face fit replacement gearbox provides a multi-point locking solution for uPVC windows. The gearbox works with bi-directional bolts to secure the window to the outer frame locating into profile keeps.

How do I know which gearbox I need?

The Saracen/Aubi FM gearbox lock comes in two variations, Straight (20mm backset) or Cranked (22mm backset) faceplate. To determine the correct gearbox first remove the gearbox from your window then inspect the tooth connector plates located on either side of the gearbox, the cranked (22mm backset) faceplate will have the stamp code 05058, the straight (20mm backset) faceplate will be stamped 05060.

Next check the deadbolt throw size - The deadbolt throw is stamped on the square deadbolt face (i.e. 115 = 11.5mm & 095 = 9.5mm).
