Universal Replacement
A universal replacement upvc door handle for the now obsolete Avocet Roto door handle with 162mm fixing centres. The Avocet and Roto door handles were discontinued many years ago and no longer available. This door handle is the best option for replacing the aforementioned handles. It has a unique fixing design which allows you to move the fixings on this door handle to match perfectly with your existing handle. This allows you to quickly and easily replace your Avocet Roto or other discontinued upvc door handles without needing to drill new holes or make any adjustments do your door whatsoever.To install the handle just put the fixings through the handle backplate, lining them up with your current fixing holes in you door. Fix the two sides together using the included security bolt ends. Once the door handle base has been fixed to the door using your existing screw positions you can then attach the included cover plate. Simply feed the handle lever through the lever hole on the cover plate and click the cover plate into position.

Handle Measuring Guide
Measurement 1There are only two measurements which are required to ensure full working operation of your new uPVC door handle. The first one being what is known as the PZ measurement. This measurement is the distance from the centre of the key hole the to centre of the handle lever or spindle hole. This is measurement B on the technical diagram.
Measurement 2
The second measurement is the distance between the two fixing points which are the screw holes on the uPVC door handles backplate. This is measurement F on the technical diagram. On this door handle the screw positions are completely universal so you do not need to measure you existing handle. This door handle will fit any 92PZ door handle regardless of the fixing positions.

I have a front door with I now know is a Millanco117 lock which the handle was turning but not opening the lock. I found GBDIY online (saw Peter Knights review of similar) and decided to call. The man on the phone asked if I am “handy”. I told him I am DIY handy enough and he said give it a go then. He advises me it would probably be the cam which is broken and not the whole lock. So he told me to buy a new cam for about £20 instead of a whole lock for about £150. Amazing cause if he would have told me I needed a lock i wouldn’t know any better myself. So he saved me probably £130 in parts and also gave me a bit of advise about looking out for the ball bearings inside. That gave me the confidence to have a go myself instead of calling a locksmith which would have cost a fortune probably. Really good. Today with the added help of a YouTube video I have fixed the lock and it is all working perfectly now. Thanks so much. Really good. PS. I tried to add photos but it won’t upload - don’t know why. Please pass this message to the GBDIY team as the man on the phone should remember this and it’s good to have some good feedback I hope!

Finding the right part was made easy with the company's very detailed measurements drawing. I was able to tick each measurement off unlike some websites where I was left scratching my head with just two measurements to compare against.
The ordering process was straight forward. I ordered on Friday afternoon and I fitted it on Monday afternoon. That was with just standard postage.

Was stuck with a rear door I couldn't lock, I spoke to they're sales fella, and although was just past the cut off to ship same day, he found my order and pushed it through. Great old fashioned customer service, really appreciate it . 🙏
